The "Corona Corn-Grain Mill" is for grinding corn, wheat, rye, barley, etc.
Made from cast iron and does a good job of crushing grains for brewing. Fresh crushed grain is always better for your brew. If you are going to store grain, it is better to crush it fresh each time. Using a 10 inch Funnel with the tip cut down and set on top of the Corona mill hopper is a good for about a 5 pound capacity hopper. The Corona Mill can be motorized with an electric drill by replacing the handle with a hex head bolt and nut and using a socket but to fit the hex head. When motorized it's fast and flexible. Adding some flat washers to the mounting bolts of the assembly between the stationary grinding head and spinning grinding head gives a large amount of grinding flexibility. Much less expensive then a Phil Mill and does a very good job or crushing.
